Phone Plus

Phone Plus is an outsource Customer Contact Centre that provides a full range of functions for a variety of industries including Energy Retailers, Corporate and Infrastructure organisations. It operates from dual sites in Albany, on Auckland’s North Shore, and in Kaikohe. This model allows Phone Plus to secure new clients via the Auckland operation, while using it’s IT technology platform to flow back into the Contact Centre in the Far North. Established in Auckland in 1993, Phone Plus was purchased on 1 August 2000 by Top Energy and then by our Director Samantha Mills on 1 April 2016.

Ministry of Social Development

The Ministry of Social Development (MSD) is the public service department of New Zealand charged with advising the government on social policy, and providing social services. MSD is the largest public service department employing public servants in over 200 locations around New Zealand. It works closely with other public service departments and agencies, non-government organisations, advisory and industry groups, and communities and iwi. MSD delivers its programmes and services through a number of business groups and agencies. Some of the functions of the ministry were historically performed by the Social Security Department, the Department of Social Welfare, and the Department of Work and Income (WINZ).

CRM Consulting Limited

The CRM Contact Centre Awards were introduced to New Zealand in 1997 as a means of providing an annual ‘snap-shot’ of how New Zealand Contact Centres are responding to customer enquiries. Laurie Smith became the license owner in 1997 to continue with the CRM Customer Service Awards and associated mystery shopping programs under her own company CRM Consulting Limited. The objective of the survey is to measure the quality of service delivered by Contact Centres over the telephone and internet, and to raise awareness of the impact that this has upon their image. The survey also provides benchmarking data against which individual performance can be measured, highlighting specific areas of strength and weakness in relation to the performance of other Contact Centres.
