About us:
Our Customer Service Team enjoy supporting our customers across a range of channels, delivering exceptional service working across a network of customer touch-points within the organisation.

This role supports our after-hours team and operates over a rotating roster, including weekends, up to 40 hours per week, between the hours of 4pm and 8am.

Your Impact:
Your focus is on providing communities with access to our Council services and products, eager to respond and resolve a variety of enquiries. Your goal is to provide exceptional service, providing information and solutions while making the experience as efficient as possible for our customers and the citizens of Christchurch.

What will make you successful?
You will have a desire to express passionately and consistently, a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Effective listening, communication and problem solving are the skills we will be seeking through our recruitment process.

You will have strong customer service experience, your experience will include Contact Centre and digital customer support. The ability to build rapport quickly, through your genuine interest in meeting the needs of our customers, is extremely important in this role. You will enjoy working autonomously; excelling in an environment where you are given independence to carry out work unsupervised.

Additional recruitment information:

Hours of work: Permanent, full-time positions based on a rotational roster, including weekends, working between the hours of 4pm and 8am (predominant shift time from midnight until 8am)
