Our client, a household name New Zealand wide has an exciting opportunity to join their Hamilton based team as a Sales and Retention Leader.

Key Information/Facts about the role:

•Based in Central Hamilton 
•Hours – Monday – Friday 11.30am – 8.00pm 
•Managing up to 15 phone based sales agents (inbound and outbound)

Key Accountabilities:

•Managing service levels and monitoring of sales targets 
•Managing the performance expectations and providing regular feedback 
•Overseeing staff incentive/commission entitlements 
•All day to day operational management tasks for the team (there are other Managers overseeing similar teams so there is ample opportunity to collaborate)
The ideal applicant will have:
•Experience in an inbound or outbound call centre, not necessarily as a leader but certainly on the phones 
•Leadership experience with running a team and managing the requirements that come with this – providing advice and guidance, managing expectations around delivery, service and KPI’s 
•A strong sales drive and a passion for results – with the ability to get the best out of others 
•A commitment to customer service 
•Resiliency 

We are looking for a team player who is happy to ‘muck in’ and be a true part of the team. This involves staying on top of the market by actively engaging in the sales process (roughly 2 hours a day taking or making sales calls).

Working in a sales environment can be exhausting and we are looking to find this team a Manager who is approachable, driven and focused on doing the right thing for the company and their team.
