At Sovereign, like a lot of other contact centres, we are seen as the “starting point” or “foot in the door to a real job” There came a point in time where my team and I decided that the wider business needed to learn and understand more about what services and customer experience Sovereign’s contact centre provided to Sovereign, our Customers and Business Partners as they clearly had little or no understanding at all. 

For this to happen, we decided to open the contact centre to the whole company for a day and let anyone come and sit in with our teams and observe what they did. We wanted to show the different skills required in what are, four very different functioning teams and also educate people on the complexity and knowledge required in the Contact Centre.
