Selwyn District Council has embarked on an ambitious project to comprehensively re-shape our customer service model across the entire organisation. Our centralised customer service team will deliver great customer experiences across all channels.

We are seeking an exceptional Systems and Process Lead to ensure we can quickly develop and maintain the appropriate systems and reporting function.

In this new role you will have the opportunity to make your mark as a lead in the development of systems and process to underpin customer service excellence. You will be advocating for quality service delivery, supporting a team culture of service excellence, and providing coaching and training to the CSR’s on service and skills development.

You will use your excellent technical skills to work with others to ensure robust systems and processes are ready for our delivery timeframes. Following this you will be working on continuous improvement by reviewing, reporting and analysis to drive service improvements. Your strong interpersonal and communication skills will be valuable in facilitating successful business improvement discussions with internal departments and key stakeholders.

To be successful in this role you will be likely to hold a relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent in Technical support, Business Analyst, Reporting, Systems administration. You may have gained your experience in leading Customer Service, systems improvement or high level business administration.

A background in local government or public sector will be an advantage. You will also bring a current, well-developed understanding of the systems and technologies that support excellent customer service delivery. Your ability to work to tight deadlines and maintain a good sense of humour is key.
